“From 2010 to 2020, the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese (GOA) experienced a significant membership decline. Nationwide, the number of all GOA adherents dropped from 481,921 to 375,972 (-22% change). The decrease in regular attendees (i.e., the parishioners who come to church regularly) was equally strong: from 106,846 to 84,552 (-21% change).”
